Groundhog Day Thoughts…

Today is Groundhog Day. The day when the first thoughts of spring start to sprout in the minds of snow weery souls. Isabella has a different take on this day.

Here is a little Izzyism that she would like to share…Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine!

Let’s have spring thoughts today no matter what the Groundhog sees.

Ahhh Sunday

Sundays are a special day of doing what Puggies do best. Relaxing! Isabella has taken relaxing and made it an art form. Hence not a lot on the agenda gets done today.

Throwback Thursday

In the famous words of Monty Hall from Let’s Make A Deal, “What’s behind curtain number 1?”

And where is Carol Merrill?

Thanks Jonas!

What a difference a day makes. Thanks to Epic Blizzard Jonas. We are under a blizzard warning and a travel ban. So stay in because the snow looks much better when you are looking at it from the other side of the window. We hope that everyone stays safe. Remember to bring your pets in. Keep them warm and dry. And give ‘um a big hug for us.

Wait For It!

You can barely see the remnant of snow that we had here at Pugsville NYC the other day. But wait till tomorrow. Winter storm Jonas will be bearing down on the east coast this weekend. We hope that everyone stays safe out there. Please remember to bring your pets inside. They also need to stay dry and warm. Look at it this way, if you’re cold, so are they. Give ‘um some lovin’ for us!

Slap On Some Lipstick

Well it’s here. Blue Monday. Supposedly the most depressing day of the year.

Our Lady Isabella deals with it with grace and dignity by slapping on some lipstick and lounging in the sun.  If that doesn’t seem to do it for you, here is a link for some other suggestions to get you through your day.

What A Difference A Day Makes

Yesterdays temperature in Pugsville NYC was in the 50’s. A very wonderful day to go for a walk ‘sans’ jacket. Today the Pugs woke up to temperatures in the high 20’s. Needless to say, back on went the coats.

Gotta Be In It To Win It.

With the Powerball jackpot ever growing to an insanely high amount, you have to ask yourself one question….”Do you feel lucky?”

Getting Out The Heavy Artillery

IMG_3612The heavy artillery came out today with the temperatures in NYC being a brisk 14 degrees. Fashionably dressed for any weather occasion,Our Lady Isabella is wearing her girly skulls hat and jacket by Pug Snuggly while Lord Byron is rockin out a faux hawk hat by All You Need Is Pug.

It’s Freezing Actually.

With the temperature in NYC today just above 14 degrees, Lady Isabella decided to stay inside. Butterflys cannot fly when it is that cold.

It’s Grimday.

The day we all knew that would eventually come around. The dreaded Grimday. The first day back to work, back to school, back to reality. It was inevitable.

Here’s to a Pugtastic New Year!

Lord Byron and Lady Isabella and the staff of Pugsville would like to wish everyone a very Pugtastic New Year.

In the words of Tony Sinclair, the highly esteemed socialite, always in moderation. Be safe!

See you all in 2016!

It Was a Very Puggie Christmas at Mashable

Mashable released their pug-themed Holiday video, that features Lady Isabella and Lord Byron, as well as a few of their other puggie friends from New York City; BusterEmojiJameson, Oliver and Angel. They had a great time hamming it up for the camera, Lady Isabella even did a little dance at the 1:21 mark.

A Festivus for the Rest of Us!

Today, this 23rd day of December is Festivus. A few of the festivities  are ‘the feats of strength’, which battles Lord Byron against King Argus in a tug of war, with a toy that Isabella personally picked out, to see who will come out victorious. There is a also the “airing of grievances”, which is going to take awhile. Apparently there are a lot of problems that need to be aired.

Happy Winter’s Solstice!

Today marks the longest night and the shortest day of the year. Here at Pugsville, we hope that everyone has a peaceful day.

The December Bark Box is Here!

What a fantastic day in Pugsville! When our royal pair returned home from the Mashable video shoot, they were excited to see the December Bark Box waiting for them. This month their box contained Seldovia Wild Salmon Jerky (we love salmon in Pugsville), a Cooper’s Cozy Flannel toy, a Harry Barker Leopard Slipper toy, a BarkMade treat tin, bacon gingerbread treats from Le Petit Treat, and some kind of ear chewy that was such a hit, Izzie mangled the label so quickly, we don’t know who made it. Thank you Bark Box for another great unboxing; poochas gracias!
